Brother Ali Does It Again

Brother Ali keeps amazing me with his music and he has done it again.
From music with the most politically aware message to a sweet little love song his lines are well received.
Ali dropped a new EP February 13th called The Bite Marked Heartwhich is free to download HERE.
Enjoy Brother Ali’s new Shine On video!

Alchemist+Oh No=Ganggrene

In 2009 Alchemist and Oh No teamed up with director Jason Goldwatch for the visuals of their single Under Siege.
The outcome was one mad funny, crazy, darkish, creative video clip.
Almost 2 years later Ganggrene teams up yet again with Jason Goldwatch and drops another dark, funny and somewhat disturbing video clip, from their upcoming album “Vodka & Ayahuasca” available in stores as we speak!
Check both videos below!

Live Performance: Howlin’ Wolf – Smokestack Lightning

In my opinion one of the most influential blues artists of his time, Howlin’ Wolf. Unique appearance, performance and sound. Most people know him from his work he did for Chess Records. Was seen as “blues rival” for Muddy Waters back at the time. For me, the sound of Howlin’ Wolf can’t be compared and touches me deeply each time I listen to his music. I just wanted to share this incredible live performance from the famous track “Smokestack Lightning”. Turn up your speakers and get ready for some real, pure music!

Versis – Fly Me T’ The Moon (Prod. By Dibia$e) [Video]

Action Bronson & Statik Selektah – Not Enough Words [Video]

The Queens Rapper / Chef teamed up with Boston’s very own Statik Selektah for a collabo album, which came out today. I’ve checked it out and it comes with no real surprise that I like it. Here is the first single off the collabo album Well Done, it’s a dope clip (the drawing of the plan part made me laugh my ass off). Video directed by Tom Gould & Alexander Richter with a cameo of Meyhem Lauren. Well Done is in stores now.
