They Call Everything HipHop Nowadays?!

Chuco is as real as they get. Straight up Westcoast poppin’ action of in my book, one of the illest to ever do it.
Bboy and filmmaker Mooncricket decided to have a little chat with the brother.
Listen to what Chuco has to say and understand that we can make a change and take on the responsibility to school people, so we don’t get exploited.

Something Out Of Nothing

A few months back I saw a little preview of a movie that Ice-T was making called “Something Out Of Nothing: The Art Of Rap”.

ComipHop

I’ve been digging allot into comics again lately and remembered I had some copies of the older Wu-tang comics laying around.
Now I hear you thinking:”Does Wu-tang have a own comic?”, well.. they had and it’s funny because they are not the only, or first group of artists to be featured in their own comic.
From what I know Eminem had a featuring in a comic with the Punisher(marvel comics, not big pun) and even Bob Marley had his own comic line done by Marvel comics.
I’ll leave in the middle if any of these comics where actually any good, but it’s cool either way.
Check out the cover work below!

I Could Not Have Said It Better Myself

First realize that hiphop is more than just rap music.
Secondly  realize that hiphop is more than what you see on television.
Thirdly  realize that hiphop is a culture.
Fourthly realize that the original message of hiphop was : “Peace, Love, Unity, Having Fun”
Now you understand the clip i posted up.
Hiphop gave me the freedom to do what I wanted to do, to express myself to the fullest, i’ll be damned if I let people fuck it up, i’ll be damned if I don’t try to spread the right message.

Do You Know Why HipHop Gets Exploited?

So after not watching the final episode of So You Think You Can Dance yesterday I still have no idea who won, and quit frankly I don’t care.
The reason I don’t care is not because I think the judges are wack, or that I don’t think this is the way to do it or that this is just another way for big time producers to make big bucks.

Track Of The Night: RZA Feat. Xavier Naidoo – I’ve Never Seen

This track of the night is a nice love tune by the one and only RZA, together with Xavier Naidoo. Great collaboration! Appeared on the album “The World According To RZA”, released in 2003. The track gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it, hopefully it does the same to you.

This one is dedicated to you know who!
